Network Setup Troubleshooting
If setup does not work the first time, that is okay.
This page helps you get
InkJoy Frameback to a state where setup can continue.
Press RESET and try setup again
- Press the
RESEThole once with a pin (next to the power button). - Wait until the frame returns to the initial screen.
- Press and hold the power button to turn it on again, then run setup from the start.
Use this when:
- The current frame state is unclear.
- The screen and indicator lights do not seem to match.
- Setup still cannot start after several attempts.
The APP cannot find InkJoy Frame
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your phone.
- Confirm that
InkJoy Frameis still in setup mode:InkJoy Frameis showing the setup screen.- Press the
InkJoy Framebutton once and confirm that the blue light is blinking slowly, about once every 3 seconds.
- Press
RESETonce with a pin, then try again.
Setup fails after entering Wi-Fi
- Check whether the
Wi-FiSSID is correct. On Android, it is best to use the scan feature to pick the SSID. - Make sure the
Wi-Fipassword is correct. - Adjust
Wi-Ficompatibility if needed. For example, if you are using an iPhone hotspot as the access point, enable Maximize Compatibility, or try a differentWi-Finetwork.
